Gothic novel ‘Rebecca’ meets ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ in a new one-woman show tackling coercive control.

Imagine an eligible bachelor… rich, handsome and widowed, seeking someone to heal his broken heart. Let’s call him Max. Imagine Max goes on a reality TV show to find a wife to join him on his substantial country property but then runs away with one of the production assistants – a young woman so unremarkable that no one remembers her name. She might seem passive and easy to control, but she’s been silent too long and is ready to speak up, no matter the consequences.
