Monument to now

I was commissioned to create a site-responsive audio work for Monument to Now: MoreArt 2020.

This is a new exhibition of temporary public art works along the Upfield Bike Path (from Coburg Station, north to Gowrie Station) that engage with ideas of deep listening to create a monument to now.

This vignette is a preview of a longer piece designed to be listened to while walking south along the Upfield Bike Path. This section follows the path from Boundary Road, along Bain Street past Merlynston Station. You can also listen from your home.

Monument to Now was postponed due to COVID-19 and rescheduled to 5–15 November 2020.
